When you have a guy like Saquon Barkley how can you not just call him Sa-Quon Ginn? The name rolls right off the tongue and has a nickname based on a Jedi Knight as a rookie? It would appear that the Wookie of the Year award is in sight for Sa-Quon. There are plenty of rookies that have thrown into the mix. But, it is not just current NFL players that we like to poke fun at. Le’Veon Bell is always a particularly fun name to use and creates The MileLeVeon Falcon captained by the newest Detriot Lion tight end: Levine Toil Solo. Or in other cases creating entire sentences with players’ names at the forefront. Such as within the NFL team name itself in the cases of the Seattle Ewoks, the Baltimore Reyvans, and the Oakland Vaders. The terminology is also integrated into many different ways. These fantasy football team names contain a vast range of content from across the Star Wars universe. I didn’t think of it at first, but with ESPN league formats having Star Wars images as logos of fantasy teams, these names should serve as a perfect complement to your Stormtrooper team logo. Some are better than others, but thanks to some suggestions from Twitter, I was able to create a solid list that should crack a few laughs for you and your league mates.
